We have represented clients successfully in over 250 jury trials in courts throughout Western Washington. We have more than 50 years’ combined experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants. The firm’s success in dispute resolution stems from experience and superior preparation.
If we cannot negotiate a successful resolution of your case, we will go to court for you. As experienced trial attorneys, we know our way around a courtroom and are comfortable trying cases.
Dave was born on the Eastern Slope of the Rocky Mountains in Great Falls, Mont. Dave graduated from Charles M. Russell High School in 1977 and was a member of the last State Championship Legion baseball team to come from Great Falls.
In 1981, Dave graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash. While attending classes at Whitman, Dave majored in history-American studies and played NCAA Division III college baseball. Dave earned All-Conference Honorable Mention Honors in 1981. After college, Dave returned to Montana to take a paid position coaching baseball and worked tending bar.
At a young age, Coreen set the goal of becoming a successful trial attorney. Since then, she has devoted herself to achieving that goal. One of eight children, Coreen worked her way through college and law school, graduating from Seattle University School of Law Magna Cum Laude in 2000.
Since graduation, Washington Law & Politics magazine twice recognized her as a Rising Star, and she has been granted membership in American Mensa. Her success in trial earned her Allstate Insurance Company’s Distinguished Performance Award in 2007.
Coreen’s practice focuses on insurance defense, including complex tort claims, premises liability actions and fraud. Her past experience includes commercial litigation, real estate and professional liability defense.
In addition to practicing law, Coreen enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and foreign films.
Machele was born and raised in the farm country of Southwest Washington. After graduating from W.F. West High School in Chehalis, she attended Western Washington University in Bellingham. She completed a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in history. While at Western, Machele served an internship with Sen. Hal Zimmerman during the 1985 Washington State legislative session.
In 1989, she married her husband Doane, and in 1991, they welcomed a son D.C. After working for The Bon Marche for many years, in 2001 Machele returned to school at Edmonds Community College to add a paralegal certificate to her bachelor’s degree. Machele took an internship at Dave Wieck’s firm while at Edmonds. Wieck hired Machele afterward, and they’ve worked since 2002.
Machele enjoys interacting with clients and tracking the details for busy attorneys at Wieck Wilson. Her responsibilities include scheduling clients, doctors, witnesses and parties for depositions and/or trial testimony, drafting discovery and ensuring timely responses to discovery, preparing discovery responses and obtaining documents necessary to respond to discovery, managing discovery, file set-up and organizing witnesses and exhibits for trials.
Away from work, Machele enjoys practicing yoga, hiking and traveling.
Maryam was born and raised in Lynnwood, WA. She went to Lynnwood High School and Sno Isle Technical Skills Center. Maryam graduated from high school in 2013 with college credits in Criminal Justice. Her experience in Criminal Justice classes made her fall in love with the legal field. She then attended Edmonds Community College where she graduated in 2015 with a Paralegal Associates of Arts Degree. Immediately after college, she moved to Bellevue, WA and started working for Wieck Wilson, PLLC.
Her responsibilities include drafting correspondence, pleadings, motions, and briefs in preparation for court, scheduling witnesses and experts for depositions and/or trial testimony, and obtaining all discovery documents for court proceedings. She enjoys assisting in trial the most.
In July of 2017, Maryam married her husband Andrew. They reside in downtown Bellevue with their Siamese cat, Butters. Maryam has trained in jiu jitsu for 7 years and enjoy competing in tournaments year round. Aside from competitions, she enjoys yoga, hiking, skiing, and world travel.
